Coronation Street: Alina Flees Weatherfield, Leaving Son Behind After Threats

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Alina Pop has fled Weatherfield without her son, Dorin, after facing sinister threats. The episode airing on Friday, 23rd August, showcased the escalating danger Alina faces due to her upcoming testimony in a gangland trial.

Alina's recent return to the cobbles was driven by her desire to help bring local criminals to justice. This revelation led to Tyrone discovering he had a son he was previously unaware of. While Fiz, Tyrone's partner, tried to maintain peace, she remained cautious about the rekindled romance between Alina and Tyrone.

Despite Tyrone assuring Fiz that his family remained his priority, the situation quickly took a turn for the worse when Alina revealed to the family she was being watched by the gang she was due to testify against. The tension reached a peak when a gangster attempted to force his way into Alina's hotel room. While Ronnie Bailey intervened and scared off the intruder, Alina was left deeply shaken.

Later, Tyrone received a call informing him of Alina's attack. She then arrived at No.9 with a suitcase, pleading with Fiz and Tyrone to take in Dorin for safety. Alina, determined to ensure her son's safety, declared that this was the only way to protect him from harm. She assured them that nobody had followed her to No.9, making it safe for Dorin to stay with the family.

Facing this desperate plea, Fiz and Tyrone were left with little choice but to accept Dorin into their home, at least temporarily. They recognised the serious risk the young boy was facing.

As the episode concluded, Alina was forced to disappear once again. Evelyn Plummer, a neighbour and family friend, questioned whether Tyrone had acted wisely by putting his own family at risk for Dorin's safety.
