Colchester's annual carnival returned on Saturday, showcasing the city's vibrant community and diverse culture through a colorful parade and family-friendly festivities. At 12:45 pm, the heart of the carnival commenced as the vibrant parade set off from Sir Isaac's Walk. The procession snaked its way through the city's heart, passing through Head Street, Church Street, and finally concluding at the High Street. The parade was a kaleidoscope of colors, music, and community spirit, drawing in hundreds of onlookers who revelled in the display of Colchester's rich tapestry.
The parade was accompanied by the energetic melodies of a Nepalese band, adding an international flavour to the event. Their music filled the air, adding to the joyful atmosphere as the parade concluded at Firstsite.
