Cobra Kai Season 6: Part 2 Arrives Early!

Fans of the beloved martial arts series "Cobra Kai" won't have to wait as long for the second batch of episodes in Season 6. The creators have announced that Part 2 will premiere two weeks earlier than originally planned, dropping on Netflix on November 15th at 3:00 a.m. ET / 12:00 a.m. PT. This news was shared at the star-studded premiere for Season 6, Part 1, attended by the cast including Ralph Macchio, William Zabka, Martin Kove, and more.

"Cobra Kai," the sequel series to the original "The Karate Kid" films, follows the ongoing rivalry between Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence as they navigate life, karate, and their students. The series was initially aired on YouTube Red/Premium before being acquired by Netflix for its third season in June 2020. Now, in its final season, viewers are eager to see how the story concludes.

Season 6, Part 1, which aired on July 18th, 2024, set the stage for a thrilling conclusion. The synopsis for the season highlights the upcoming Sekai Taikai, the world championships of karate, where our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete.

The creators, Jon Hurwitz, Hayden Schlossberg, and Josh Heald, announced the early release date at the premiere, calling it a "Netflix Fight Night." They even compared the release date to the boxing match between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, suggesting a double feature of high-octane entertainment.

Like Part 1 and Part 3, Part 2 will consist of five episodes, bringing the total episode count for the final season to 15. While the release date for the third and final part of Season 6 has not been announced, Netflix has confirmed that it will arrive sometime in 2025.
