Get ready for more heat on Chicago Fire as Jake Lockett has been promoted to series regular for the upcoming Season 13, Deadline has confirmed.
Lockett first joined the drama as Firefighter Sam Carver in Season 11, quickly becoming a fan favourite. His character has been romantically involved with paramedic Violet Mikami (Hanako Greensmith), adding another layer of intrigue to the show.
The upcoming season, premiering on September 25th at 8pm, promises even more excitement. Dermot Mulroney joins the cast as Chief Dom Pascal, taking over from Eamonn Walker who departed as Boden in the Season 12 finale.
In another exciting development, Private Practice alum KaDee Strickland will join the show as Pascal's estranged wife. Adding to the roster, Jocelyn Hudon, who plays Paramedic Lyla Novak, was also promoted to series regular in June.
Chicago Fire follows the lives of the brave firefighters, rescuers, and paramedics of Firehouse 51 in Chicago. The series also stars Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Miranda Rae Mayo, Christian Stolte, and Joe Miñoso.
Dick Wolf, Andrea Newman, Matt Whitney, Reza Tabrizi, and Peter Jankowski serve as executive producers. The show is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment.
