Celine Dion Returns to Vegas!

Celine Dion Returns to Vegas!

Celine Dion is set to make a grand return to the Las Vegas Strip with a new residency at Resorts World.

Multiple sources confirm that Dion is in the final stages of negotiations with the venue, with the residency anticipated to launch in late 2024 or early 2025. These negotiations have been ongoing for several months, with insiders calling it "basically a done deal."

AEG is reportedly set to produce the show, which marks a triumphant comeback for Dion, who has been battling Stiff-Person Syndrome (SPS).

Dion's determination to return to live performance is evident, reflecting her passionate desire to reconnect with her fans. Sources close to Dion emphasize that this is entirely her own initiative, driven by her love for performing and a desire to showcase her talent.

This residency follows a long period of challenges for Dion, who had previously been preparing for a Resorts World residency in November 2021, but was forced to cancel due to the debilitating effects of SPS. Katy Perry and Carrie Underwood filled the spot, with Underwood's run concluding this November.

Despite her health struggles, Dion has shown remarkable resilience. She embarked on a massive press tour for her documentary, "I Am: Celine Dion", and will be performing at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics on Friday, marking her first public performance since her diagnosis. She will share the stage with Lady Gaga for a rendition of "La Vie en Rose", earning $2 million for her appearance.

While the length of the Las Vegas residency is yet to be determined, it is expected to be significantly shorter than her previous two successful residencies at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace.

Despite the challenges posed by SPS, Dion is prepared to power through, determined to continue performing and sharing her music with her fans.

Celine Dion is a force to be reckoned with. She is returning to Las Vegas, and the Strip is ready for her comeback.
