Cardi B Slams Foreclosure Rumours, Defends Kamala Harris

Cardi B has hit back at rumours circulating online that she and her husband, Offset, are facing foreclosure on their Atlanta mansion. The "WAP" rapper took to Twitter to address the claims, dismissing them as pure nonsense and highlighting the appreciation of her property.

"LMAOOO You bum b*tches wish… me and Offset bought that house in 2019 for 5 million now it’s worth 7," Cardi wrote on Monday, July 29th, in response to a now-deleted tweet alleging she was struggling to make mortgage payments. "Check the Atlanta market. And no, we not selling it… and if I ever sold it I would just sell my part to Offset since he loves Atlanta."

She went on to call the rumour "throwing salt on my home" and "hating bad", clearly irritated by the false claims. The Grammy-winning artist added, "Anyways. LMFAOOOOOOOOOOO it’s a lot of reality checks circling around," suggesting this wasn't the first time she'd encountered such baseless gossip.

The next day, Cardi further shut down the rumour with a video of her immaculate master bedroom, joking, "Good morning from my second home!" This lighthearted display served as a playful, yet firm, rebuttal to those questioning her financial stability.

This isn't the first time Cardi B has been vocal about addressing unfounded claims on social media. She's been a vocal supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, recently defending her against sexist criticism on X (formerly Twitter).

Responding to attacks on Harris' husband, Doug Emhoff, Cardi tweeted on July 23rd, "What does Kamala Harris husband or relationships have to do wit her credentials? Do y’all hire people based on who they f*king??"

The rapper further addressed the misogynistic attacks against Harris on a Spaces session, reaffirming her strong endorsement of the Vice President for the 2024 presidential race. Cardi expressed her frustration, stating, "I always knew how people are when it comes to women, but the disrespect? Listen, if you don’t like her as a politician, that’s you. But if you disrespect her because she’s a woman? It’s very disgusting."

Cardi B continues to utilise her platform to challenge misinformation and fight against sexism, using her powerful voice to advocate for fairness and truth. Her responses to these online attacks demonstrate her commitment to addressing injustice and championing those she believes in, solidifying her reputation as a fearless and outspoken figure.
