However, a separate source close to the matter disputes the characterisation of the legal battle as a "simple business dispute". They argue that Pitt is the one suing Jolie and yet accuses her of fighting him. They point to Pitt's refusal to drop his lawsuit, despite Jolieâs call for peace and reconciliation, as evidence of his continued attacks on her.
The source alleges that Pitt's $67 million lawsuit stems from Jolie's refusal to sign a non-disclosure agreement covering his alleged abusive behaviour. They claim Jolieâs only desire is peace for their family, but that Pitt remains determined to continue the legal battle and deflect blame for the current situation.
