Brad Pitt Channels His Inner Racer at Belgian Grand Prix

Brad Pitt, 60, took a break from filming his upcoming Formula 1 racing drama to check out the preparations for the Belgian Grand Prix. Looking sharp in a Mercedes racing jacket paired with a white racing shirt and off-white trousers, Pitt strolled around the track with his hands in his pockets, a member of staff in tow.

The Oscar-winning actor is currently filming "F1", a sports action drama due to hit cinemas in June 2025. The film follows Sonny Hayes, a former F1 driver forced to retire after a terrible crash, who is coaxed back into the world of racing to mentor a rookie prodigy.

Pitt has been immersing himself in the role, spending time on track at events like the Hungarian Grand Prix and the British Grand Prix, where he even made an appearance at the debut of the film's teaser trailer alongside his girlfriend Ines de Ramon.

"F1" boasts an impressive cast, including Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, and Lewis Hamilton, who also serves as a producer alongside Pitt and Jerry Bruckheimer. The film has received support from Formula 1 teams, drivers, and the FIA to ensure the authenticity of its racing scenes.

The Belgian Grand Prix, set to kick off on 28th July at 2pm, will be held at the iconic Spa-Francorchamps track.

While Pitt is busy filming his new racing film, news has emerged regarding his daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt's petition to legally drop his surname.

The 18-year-old, who hired her own lawyer to file the petition in May, has taken out a newspaper advertisement in The LA Times, a standard step in the name change process. The ad states that anyone with objections to the petition should appear in court later this month.

Shiloh's move to legally change her name to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie suggests a continued separation between her parents, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, following their acrimonious split. The potential for further legal action involving the couple's six children remains a possibility.
