This week, we've got everything from celebrity-backed fragrances to a free Lush shampoo bar giveaway, and a sneak peek inside a hidden gem salon in Glen Eden.

Troye Sivan Launches 'Tsu Lange Yor'

Australian singer-songwriter Troye Sivan and his brother Steele have launched their first fragrance line, 'Tsu Lange Yor', meaning "to long years" and "to good years" in Yiddish. The name is a tribute to their Jewish-Australian heritage and the sayings used in their household.

The genderless fragrance line features three eau de parfums, three candles, two home objects, and three burner blends, all inspired by Australian heritage.

Local creatives contributed to the collection, including artist and industrial designer Joel Adler who designed the burner and bowl, and perfumer Craig Andrade who created unique scents highlighting Tasmanian Mountain Pepper and other Australian botanicals.

"Partnering with Mecca feels like a celebration of where we’ve come from and validation of our choice to root Tsu Lange Yor entirely in Australia," says Troye. "To be their first Australian fragrance label, and representing all the local and creative people we’ve worked with on such an iconic platform really fills me with pride."

The 'Tsu Lange Yor' collection is available exclusively from Mecca or online at Meccabeauty.co.nz, priced from $48.

Jo Malone London Partners with Paddington on a Marmalade Scent

Two British icons, Jo Malone London and Paddington Bear, have teamed up for a limited-edition scent inspired by the beloved bear's marmalade sandwiches.

The 'Orange Marmalade' cologne blends warm woods and orange zest, capturing the warmth and kindness of Paddington.

"A childhood favourite and now our latest collaborator, Paddington conjures up cherished memories," says Jo Malone London global brand president Jo Dancey. "And when it comes to our Orange Marmalade Cologne, really there was no other choice of partner we’d rather share our scent with."

The 'Orange Marmalade' cologne is priced at $142 for 30ml or $282 for 100ml and is available now from Jo Malone London Britomart or online and in-store from selected department stores, including Mecca.
