The National Television Awards (NTAs) have revealed their shortlist for 2024, with familiar favourites and fresh faces vying for recognition in a range of categories. The ceremony, hosted by Joel Dommett for the third consecutive year, will take place on Wednesday 11 September at London's The O2 Arena.
Ant & Dec, the longstanding presenting duo, are in the running for a record 23rd win in the coveted TV Presenter category. However, they face stiff competition from Alison Hammond (This Morning), Bradley Walsh (The Chase), Claudia Winkleman (The Traitors), and Stacey Solomon (Sort Your Life Out).
Their final season of Saturday Night Takeaway is also nominated for the prestigious Bruce Forsyth Entertainment Award, alongside their other show, I'm a Celebrity, as well as The Graham Norton Show, The Masked Singer, and Michael McIntyreâs Big Show.
ITV has confirmed that recipients for the Impact Award and a Special Recognition Award will be announced separately.
In the Serial Drama category, Casualty has secured a spot following the departure of Charlie Fairhead, challenging last year's winner, EastEnders, alongside Coronation Street, Emmerdale, and Hollyoaks.
Other notable nominees include Baby Reindeer, which received nods for Jessica Gunning's performance as Martha in both the Drama Performance and New Drama categories, and the final season of Ghosts in the Comedy category.
