AC/DC to Rock Croke Park: Everything You Need to Know
Get ready to crank up the volume, as AC/DC are set to electrify Dublin this Saturday, 17 August, for the final show of their European Power Up tour. This promises to be an unforgettable night, marking the end of their 21-date journey across the continent.
The legendary Australian rockers, who last graced Irish soil with a sold-out show at the Aviva Stadium in 2015, are back with their latest tour, aptly named after their 2020 studio album "Power Up". Fans can expect to see the iconic Angus Young, the band's original lead guitarist, alongside vocalist Brian Johnson. Filling the shoes of the late Malcolm Young, who passed away in 2017, is his brother Stevie Young, while new drummer Matt Laug and a bassist complete the line-up.
AC/DC, whose 1980 album "Back in Black" holds the record for the top-selling rock album of all time, celebrated their 50th anniversary last year. This Saturday, fans can expect a sonic journey through their expansive catalogue, from early anthems to more recent hits.
