A-List Ladies Celebrate Avaline's Anniversary

Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Reese Witherspoon got together to celebrate the fourth anniversary of Diaz's wine company, Avaline, with a star-studded garden party.

On Friday, 26 July, the trio descended on a private residence in East Hampton, New York, to raise a glass to Avaline's success. The event, brimming with lush greenery and vibrant hydrangeas, provided a picturesque backdrop for the A-list friends.

Paltrow, sporting a simple black mini dress with oversized pockets, kept her blonde hair flowing straight. Diaz, on the other hand, opted for a cream-coloured maxi dress with spaghetti straps, pairing it with dark sandals and a simple gold bracelet. Witherspoon completed the trio's elegant ensemble in a white, sleeveless lace dress adorned with floral embroidery, accessorising with gold hoops and brown sandals.

The evening's festivities were documented on Instagram, with Paltrow sharing a post from Avaline's account featuring the three friends, adding the caption: "My gals💕."

Diaz and Avaline shared a joint Instagram post on Tuesday, 30 July, capturing the essence of the celebratory evening: "We celebrated four years of Avaline in the Hamptons with a few of our close friends, and what a wonderful evening it was.✨ We sipped on wine, and enjoyed a candlelit dinner together– all while the sun went down."

The post concluded with a heartfelt message of gratitude: "Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. It’s been a magical 4 years, cheers to many more! 🥂"

Diaz launched Avaline in 2020, alongside her close friend and entrepreneur, Katherine Power. Driven by a shared desire for clean, organic wines, the pair took a bold step into the world of winemaking.

"I enjoyed wine for many-a-year and never questioned it. Not once. I actually figured it was the most responsible alcohol choice because it was made with fermented grapes," Diaz explained in a press release at the time. "But I had no idea of the process. One of the first conversations Katherine and I had about making a cleaner wine was ‘what are we going to add to it?’ We soon learned it wasn't what you added, it's what you didn't add.”

Power echoed Diaz's sentiments, revealing that their journey towards Avaline began with a revelation: "We learned most wine is not made with organic grapes and that it can be manipulated with over 70 additives. This completely changed the way we thought about it," Power shared. "When we started asking for clean or organic wines in grocery stores, hotels and restaurants, all we got were eye-rolls."

Since its launch, Avaline has successfully carved a niche for itself, gaining popularity and becoming available at retailers like Whole Foods, Sprouts and Target. The brand's success, evident in the star-studded celebration, reflects a growing consumer demand for clean and organic products, proving that a commitment to quality and conscious choices can lead to meaningful success.
