The Chancery Rosewood, a highly anticipated luxury hotel slated to open its doors in London's prestigious Mayfair district in 2025, has announced a series of key appointments to its leadership team. This news comes on the heels of Michael Bonsor's appointment as managing director last November. Bonsor will be leading the team in bringing the vision for this luxurious establishment to life.
The Chancery Rosewood, housed within the Grade II-listed building that once served as the US Embassy until 2017, marks a significant addition to London's hospitality scene. This ambitious project, owned by Qatari Diar Europe and restored by celebrated British architect Sir David Chipperfield, is set to become a landmark in its own right.
The hotel's impressive team boasts a wealth of experience and expertise. Jessica Tapfar, previously Hotel Director at the prestigious Ned City of London, joins as Hotel Manager. Kate Bowen, most recently Director of Operations at the Michelin-starred Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons in Oxfordshire, takes on the role of Director of Rooms. Martin Molloy, with over 35 years of engineering expertise gained from his role as Director of Engineering at the Bulgari Hotel in London, brings his considerable skills to the team. Finally, Massimiliano Ziano, a seasoned culinary professional with 30 years of experience at renowned properties like the Peninsula London, Tokyo, and Hong Kong, as well as Park Hyatt in Seoul and Saigon, will lead the culinary team.
