The latest Premium Bonds prize draw has made two lucky individuals incredibly rich, with a total of over 5.8 million prizes awarded.
This month, the two £1 million jackpot winners hail from Outer London and Devon. The first winning Bond number, 516FV135553, belongs to a holder from Outer London with a £24,155 investment. They purchased the lucky Bond in October 2022, making them the 12th £1 million jackpot winner from their area.
The second jackpot Bond, 245FP902498, was held by a resident of Devon. They have £30,275 in Premium Bonds and bought the winning Bond back in May 2015, becoming the 18th Premium Bonds millionaire from Devon.
More Big Wins
Several other lucky individuals won substantial prizes in the August draw, including a few who snagged £100,000 just months after purchasing their winning Bonds.
- Bonds 565QM134350 and 567RT272138, both purchased in January this year, went to holders in South Scotland and Lincolnshire respectively.
- A holder from East Sussex bought their winning Bond, 569BY543780, in February 2024.
- Another holder, this time from Barnet, purchased their £100,000 Bond, 577VW908156, in April 2024.
- Finally, a North Yorkshire resident bought Bond 584PV209624 in June 2024, securing them a £100,000 prize.

He continued, "It's not just about our jackpot winners though, as we're paying out over £457 million in prizes this month. One winner from Kent scooped £100,000 with only a £100 holding in Premium Bonds. Another £100,000 winner bought their winning bond nearly 30 years ago in 1995 â I hope it was worth the wait!"

Premium Bonds holders can check if they've won a prize in the August draw from today, Friday, August 2nd. You can do so by:

- Asking Alexa
You'll need your Premium Bonds holder's number if using the website or app. The prize checker app also accepts NS&I or holder's numbers. You can also check for any unclaimed prizes owed to you.
Claiming Your Prize
A total of 5,935,875 prizes worth £457,062,375 will be paid out in the August 2024 prize draw.
You can choose to have your prizes paid directly to your bank account or reinvested into more Premium Bonds.
Around nine out of ten prizes are already paid in this way, making it quicker and more secure than waiting for a cheque.
