NFL Stars' Mum to Judge Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest
Donna Kelce, mother of American football stars Jason and Travis Kelce, will be a judge at the upcoming Pillsbury Bake-Off competition. The contest, which celebrates family favourite recipes and the cherished memories they evoke, will be hosted by Kelce, a seasoned baker with a passion for creating delicious treats for her loved ones.
Kelce's own signature dish, "Mama Kelce's Dinner Rolls," is a twist on the 1969 Bake-Off winner, "Pillsbury Magic Marshmallow Crescent Puffs." According to her sons, the rolls, a blend of cinnamon sugar and flaky Pillsbury crescent pastry, are a family favourite that disappears quickly at every gathering.
"There's something truly special about a recipe that stands the test of time and brings joy to the table every festive season," said Kelce in a press release. "I've been baking my family's favourite holiday dish for decades, and I can't wait to see other families submit their best holiday recipes to this year's Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest. The bake-off winner will receive the prestigious stamp of approval from Kelce and the Pillsbury team, along with a grand prize of £40,000. To enter the competition, participants must submit their recipes by 30 September. The lucky winner will be announced in November.
