Gempton, with over 13 years of experience at AutoNation, brings a wealth of expertise in automotive transactions to Kerrigan Advisors. In his most recent role as Vice President of Corporate Development, he spearheaded nearly £2.4 billion in transactions encompassing over 130 dealerships, generating revenue exceeding £4 billion. His experience spans a wide range of acquisitions and divestitures, showcasing his deep understanding of the industry's intricacies.
Before joining AutoNation, Gempton began his career as a chartered accountant serving the auto retail sector at MBAF and PricewaterhouseCoopers. This early experience provides a solid foundation for his current role, equipping him with a comprehensive understanding of financial intricacies crucial for navigating the complexities of dealership transactions.
