Indian drone manufacturer, IdeaForge Technology, has announced that its latest unmanned aerial vehicle, the Q6 V2, has successfully obtained a Type Certification from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) in India. This certification paves the way for the advanced drone to operate commercially in the UK, marking a significant step for the company's global expansion.
The Q6 V2, an enhanced version of the popular Q6 model, is recognised for its exceptional performance and versatility, excelling in defence, civil, and enterprise sectors. The Q6 V2 boasts a comprehensive suite of advanced payload capabilities, allowing for diverse applications. These include high-quality daylight and thermal surveillance cameras, a 24.3 MP photogrammetry camera for detailed mapping, and a 16 MP multispectral 4-band camera for agricultural and environmental monitoring.
